Strictly Come Dancing fans are divided after the three hosts were announced tonight. Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and fan favourite Johannes Radebe will present the show when it returns later this year.
One wrote: “Awful not suited at all what a come down.” Another branded Josh a “comedian with no background of presenting or anything connected to dancing” and insisted: “Radebe will be wasted as a presenter when he still dances SO well.”
Another called the announcement “a let down” – but others said the BBC had pulled off an impossible task replacing former Strictly hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.

Another wrote: “I’m sorry but Josh and Strictly just makes no sense and I like Josh.” However, many backed the decision, with one saying: “Looking forward to this new trio of Strictly Come Dancing hosts!” Others urged fans to give the new arrivals a chance.
One wrote: “Emma and Josh are both FANTASTIC presenters & nice people. So I urge everyone to actually give them a chance before crying about it. They went through months of screen tests & chemistry tests, please let’s be open minded & trust the choices.”
Other were sticking to their guns over their favourite stars – with some saying Rylan Clark and Zoe Ball have been overlooked. One posted: “Still think Zoe Ball was an absolute no-brainer for this. Her and Emma would probably have been a perfect pairing. Oh well.”
