An Australian man has been charged with the murder of his wife and two young sons in Campbelltown, Sydney.
Police discovered the bodies of his 46-year-old wife and their sons, aged 12 and four, in different rooms of their home on Monday evening.
The 47-year-old suspect reportedly called the police himself to report an “incident” at the address.
He was arrested, charged with three counts of murder, and formally refused bail, with his next court appearance scheduled for 15 July.
Police described the incident as “particularly violent” and highlighted the ongoing issue of domestic violence, noting the family was not previously known to authorities.
