At least two people were killed and four others seriously injured in a shooting in southern Spain, police said on Tuesday.
A 25-year-old man was detained by the Civil Guard on suspicion of killing his parents in El Ejido, Andalucía around 11pm on Monday night, a police spokesperson told The Independent.
Four other people – a man, a woman and two children – were seriously injured in the shooting, police confirmed this morning, with a large presence still at the scence.
The Civil Guard said it was investigating the motive and circumstances of the attack, which local media reported occurred at a house in the El Canalillo neighbourhood.
