Donald Trump posted a series of unusual AI-generated memes on Truth Social following his return from a trip to China, including one depicting him and the Secret Service escorting an extraterrestrial.
Other science-fiction themed memes showed Trump in a Space Force command centre, alongside posts attacking various political opponents.
California Governor Gavin Newsom was a particular target, depicted in AI memes as a zombie or in a straitjacket, suggesting ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’.
Trump also used his social media to promote an image of himself as youthful and in good health, recirculating praise that he ‘ages in reverse’.
These posts come amidst recent health concerns, including him dozing off at an event and swollen ankles, with a health check-up scheduled for 26 May.
