Oasis tease time and date for 2027 tour announcement

Oasis are widely expected to be announcing a new tour today, with fans poised for 4pm BST when the band will be sharing their news.

The Manchester rock legends teased the announcement last week with a spectacular drone display in Manchester, with the band’s logo showing up in lights along with the date 14/09/26 and the time 4pm BST.

Oasis have also been dropping hints about potential tour venues over the past few weeks on their social media channels, including the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, Celtic Park in Glasgow, and Knebworth in Hertfordshire.

Even before the band’s 2025 reunion concerts had concluded, fans and the media were speculating that once-warring brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher would be back on stage together again in the near future, such was the success of last year’s tour.

The announcement comes a week after Noel and Liam attended the UK premiere of the documentary film Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger from Steven Knight and co-directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, showing behind-the-scenes footage and concert clips from the 2025 reunion.

Tickets to the Oasis Live ‘25 shows sold out within minutes of going on sale, with the tour estimated by Forbes to have generated over $400m (£293m) in revenue, and Noel and Liam each pocketing between $50m-$100m. As a result, the pair cracked the Sunday Times Rich List this year with a combined net worth of $375m.

“Ffs RKID announce the tour we’re all losing our minds.” – Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher is clearly as impatient as any other Oasis fan, as he made clear when he urged big brother Noel to “announce the tour” last month in a post on X.

By now, a new tour might seem less of a surprise than those long-awaited 2025 shows. The rock band made history when brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher put an end to their years-long feud and reunited onstage for the first time in almost 16 years to play a record-breaking world tour, including a series of homecoming shows in Manchester.

Even before the 2025 tour concluded, fans predicted that Oasis would be keen to get back out on the road again, given the run of shows were a defining cultural event – as well as a very lucrative one. Oasis Live ‘25 was estimated by Forbes to have generated over $400m (£293m) in revenue, with Noel and Liam each pocketing between $50m-$100m. As a result, the pair cracked the Sunday Times Rich List this year with a combined net worth of $375m.

Oasis poised to make huge announcement at 4pm today

If they do a Spice Girls and this turns out to be a “complete boxset of their albums”, fans are going to be livid. But it’s looking pretty likely that the Oasis announcement at 4pm today will indeed be a tour announcement (whether we’re getting any new music remains to be seen).

It comes just over two years since Noel and Liam Gallagher first confirmed that they had ended their long-running feud 15 years since Oasis split in 2009. What followed was the 2025 reunion tour – one of the most talked-about and in-demand run of shows of all time, kicking off in Cardiff on 4 July 2025 and ending on 23 November at Estadio do Morumbi in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
