Hull City manager, Sergej Jakirovic, has named goalkeeper, Emi Martinez as the Player of the Match following his side’s Premier League 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Saturday.
Speaking to BBC Sport after the match, Jakirovic insisted that the Argentina World Cup winner saved Xabi Alonso’s side.
“It’s a huge result for us. We had 2-1 at half-time, and we had a hundred per cent chance with McBurnie, but Martinez’s save was excellent,” Jakirovic said.
“We have to control play better in the box because we can stop this [Chelsea goal]. We had an excellent chance for Cho–Martinez saved again. Player of the match,” he said.
