One lucky National Lottery participant could secure a life-changing multi-million-pound fortune in the May 16 Lotto draw tonight. The top prize has climbed to an impressive £7 million because no ticket holder succeeded in matching all six main numbers during Wednesday’s game.
To participate in this evening’s draw, hopefuls must select a half-dozen numbers between one and 59. Those who prefer to leave their luck to chance can opt for a Lucky Dip, which generates a random selection of numbers. Tickets are priced at £2 per line.
The main Lotto numbers will be drawn later this evening, followed shortly by the Thunderball game. The Thunderball draw is scheduled to take place at 8.15pm, exactly a quarter of an hour after the Lotto numbers are revealed.

Earlier this week, an estimated £5 million was up for grabs in the Lotto draw.
No players scooped the £5m jackpot, the £1m prizes or the £500,000 Thunderball. 50 players won £1,750 each by matching five of six numbers without the bonus ball.
Since nobody took home the top prizes on Wendesday, today’s top prize has climbed to a massive £7 million.
