EPL: Gary Neville blames two Man Utd players for 2-2 draw with Everton

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has blamed Patrick Dorgu and Andrey Santos for the late equaliser the team conceded in their 2-2 draw with Everton on Sunday.

The Red Devils looked set to win their first away game in the Premier League after Benjamin Sesko headed in a Luke Shaw cross.

Tyrique George’s fierce strike had cancelled out Bryan Mbeumo’s opener.

But debutant Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ effort from distance ensured Everton got a share of the spoils.

Neville, analysing the sequence that led to Maitland-Niles’ goal, said: “Dorgu for some reason chases out and presses—isolated press.

“Santos then doesn’t go over behind him and stays back, and it just gets played past Dorgu. It’s a massive mistake that.

“It just strikes me with a lot of lack of communication.”
