Transfer: Nigerian midfielder Tijani joins Slovakian club on loan 

Nigerian midfielder Samson Tijani has joined Slovakian club FK Železiarne Podbrezová on loan for the 2026/27 season.

Tijani moved to Podbrezová from Czech outfit Dukla Prague.

The agreement also includes an option to make the move permanent on a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old joined Dukla Prague on a free transfer last summer after leaving Austrian club Salzburg.

Tijani made 26 league appearances for Dukla Prague.

He was part of the Super Eagles’ squad for the 2026 Unity Cup, featuring in the matches against Zimbabwe and Jamaica.
