Traffic chaos at Dover as masked protesters block access to port

Demonstrators wearing masks have blocked three separate locations at the Port of Dover, bringing all traffic entering the key transport hub to a complete standstill.
Kent Police officers are in attendance at the scene and currently engaging with the protesters to manage the ongoing demonstration.
The Port of Dover confirmed that the public order incident is causing widespread disruption across all major routes in and out of both the port and the town.
National Highways reported four miles of congestion on the A20 in both directions, warning drivers to expect delays of around 45 minutes on approach.
Port officials stated that they are working alongside Kent Police in the hope of reaching a swift resolution to reduce the impact on customers and the local community.
