Gabriel Martinelli has now become Arsenal’s most expensive sale, after his €70 million move to Al Hilal was confirmed on Thursday.

The Gunners have also included a sell-on clause as part of the agreement with the Saudi Pro League side.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “Gabriel Martinelli joins Al Hilal on €70m package deal from Arsenal.

“Record sale for #AFC with also a sell-on clause secured as part of the agreement.
