Trump calls Meghan a ‘horrible influence’ on Prince Harry

- Speaking in an interview with GB News, Trump stated that if he were King Charles, he would never have taken the couple back or spoken to Harry again following their exit and public criticism of the Royal Family.
- Trump praised King Charles as a fantastic guy and long-time friend, admiring his bravery during his ongoing health struggles and noting that the King’s willingness to offer an olive branch shows he is a much better person than himself.
- The US president’s remarks come as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to live in the UK alongside their two children, ending a six-year stay in California to begin an extended period back in the country.
- Although Harry and Meghan are expected to remain non-working royals with potential plans to settle in the Cotswolds, questions remain regarding their security arrangements and whether public funds will be utilised.
