Former Bondi rescue star Matt Dee dies
- Matt Dee, a former lifeguard and cast member of Australian TV show Bondi Rescue, has died.
- His death was announced on the FTW Revolution Instagram page, a brand Dee set up to raise awareness of mental health issues following the deaths of his brother and sister by suicide.
- A statement said: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our Matt Dee. Matt touched the lives of many, he also did amazing work and he will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.“
- Dee starred in Bondi Rescue from 2008 to 2017, and was a Suicide Prevention Australia ambassador. His cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
