Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has confirmed the Premier League champions would be active on transfer deadline day.
The summer window closes at 11pm on Tuesday, September 1.
So far, the Gunners have only signed Ezri Konsa, Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis to bolster the first team.
Arteta is keen to add some attacking depth, with Arsenal linked with a move for Atletico Madrid striker, Julian Alvarez.

He said: “I said, we are trying to improve the squad, and until tomorrow night we’re going to try to do that.
“I’ve been disconnected from the world for 24 hours because I think my energy and focus has to be on the match. I will get back on it now.”
Arsenal added that his squad needs more depth, as they will be fighting in four competitions.
