Warri Wolves technical adviser Hassan Abdallah has blamed his team’s poor defending for the defeat to Bendel Insurance.
The Seasiders suffered a 2-1 defeat to Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Sunday.
Alex Oweifaleya and Kayode Oke were on target for Bendel Insurance, while Eventus Itolowo scored Warri Wolves’ only goal of the game.
Abdallah promised to address the lapses identified in his team.

“I saw some technical faults in our central defenders, which I’m going to work on with a view to correcting them,” Abdallah told the club’s media.
“We scored early in the game, but unfortunately, we couldn’t hold on to the lead until the end of the first half.”
