NUJ FCT announces trust fund for family of late chairman Osadebamwen

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Federal Capital Territory, FCT Chapter, has officially announced a Trust Fund for the family of its late Chairman, Comrade Patrick Osadebamwen.

The Chairman of the NUJ FCT Chapter, Comrade Grace Ike, made this disclosure at a night of tribute for Osadebamwen on Monday in Abuja.

Ike said the late journalist, Osadebamwen, had made an impact on society and humanity.

She stressed that the union would not let down his three children and family.

“NUJ FCT Chapter has decided to open the Trust Fund with a start-up fund of N500,000,” she said.

DAILY POST reports that Osadebamwen, who worked with Kaftan Television and Nigerian Tribune, died at his apartment in Abuja about five days ago.
