Atletico Madrid striker, Julian Alvarez, has reportedly informed Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta that he is not keen on joining the Premier League champions.
This is according to The Athletic’s David Orstein, who said Arteta spoke with Alvarez over the phone, in a bid to convince him to move back to England.
Alvarez is believed to have set his heart on signing for Atletico’s LaLiga rivals Barcelona.
However, Atletico are unwilling to sanction a move to the Camp Nou, but would be ready to do business with Arsenal.
