Al-Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed joy after becoming the club’s all-time top scorer in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo achieved the feat after scoring a goal in Al-Nassr’s 2-1 win over Al-Taawoun at home on Friday.
The Portugal forward surpassed Mohammed Al-Sahlawi’s tally of 103 goals to claim the record outright.
Ronaldo is now Al-Nassr’s leading scorer in the Saudi Pro League, with 104 goals in just 110 games.

Reacting, Ronaldo said in his post-match interview that it was a great achievement and expressed gratitude to his teammates.
“I am very happy; this is a great achievement.
“But it’s not just my effort. I must express my heartfelt thanks to my teammates because, without them, none of this would be possible.
“At the same time, I am also really happy for the fans, who have supported me from beginning to end, and I am incredibly proud of that,” Ronaldo said of the new record.
