In 2026, a California civil jury also found Cosby liable for sexually assaulting Donna Motsinger and awarded her $59.25 million, but Cosby’s lawyer said they planned to appeal.
In a separate case that year, prosecutors also declined to file charges due to insufficient evidence and the statute of limitations. Seagal’s attorney said they were “very pleased with the outcome.”
Kelly’s attorneys challenged the government’s cases, and Kelly has appealed his convictions.
