Your latest food obsession could be a £5.25 side dish from Nando’s.

Brits love a cheeky Nando’s from time to time, and the restaurant is one of the most popular destinations for people who want to dine on tasty chicken dishes at a range of spice levels. Millions of us have a go-to dish whenever we go to Nando’s, but the restaurant chain is aiming to shake things up this summer with a brand new range of menu items designed to try and sway you towards choosing something a little more daring.

The new menu was shared on TikTok by the UK Newest Foods account, which sampled each of the new and improved menu items that have recently been launched.

First up were two new side dishes, the Roastinas and the Chicken Chorizo starter, which both cost £5.25. The Rostinas are crunchy, fluffy potatoes coated in smoked paprika. They are served with a garlic aioli dip, and come with a little bottle of Peri-Peri drizzle to add some extra heat to the spuds if you fancy it.

The Chicken Chorizo starter, meanwhile, is a chicken-based take on the popular chorizo sausage. The starter, which can be served as a side dish or as part of a sharing platter, is coated in paprika and garlic and drizzled with Peri-Honey. However, some people have claimed this starter isn’t available in their local Nando’s, as it seems to only be available in select locations.

For the mains, Nando’s has brought back the Butterfly Burger with a brand-new recipe, which now comes with a new Peri-House sauce that’s described as “creamy, garlicky, and has a sweet pickley pop”. Everything else about the burger is the same, and it costs £12.95 on its own for £19.45 with two sides.

There are two new wraps on the menu, including the Big Caesar and the Great Imitator, which are both on the lunch menu. The wraps each cost £8.50, and are available on weekdays between 11:30am and 3pm.

If you have any room for dessert, you can now also tuck into the Ultimate Chocolate Brownie for £5.50.

There are also some new drinks on the menu, including the Tropical Crush and Pink Berry Crush slushies, and the Savanna Beach and Strawberry Sunset cocktails, which are both made with Absolut vodka.
