Comedians including Richard Ayoade, Harry Hill, Lee Mack and Katherine Ryan are set to appear in the upcoming series of Last One Laughing UK.

Also joining the cast are Katherine Parkinson, Jon Richardson, Morgana Robinson and Michelle de Swarte.

The contestant list is completed by Josh Jones and Roisin Conaty.

Conaty was previously host Jimmy Carr’s deputy in the control room. Series two contestant Mel Giedroyc will join Carr in the control room this year.

The show involves a group of comics spending a day together while trying not to laugh. If they laugh, they are out of the game. The last contestant remaining receives a trophy.

If more than one comedian is still left by the end of the game, the winner is decided by who caused the most laughs.

Fans of the show took to social media to express their excitement at the new line-up, with X users commenting that the show was “made for Harry Hill” and the former presenter would be “hard to break.”

However, others were disappointed that their favourites from previous seasons wouldn’t be returning.

“David not being back is sad but Ayoade was the so good in series 1 that I’m not complaining.” said @Mister_Jallen on X.
