Aston Villa goalkeeper, Emi Martinez has travelled to London to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed move to Chelsea.
The two Premier League clubs have agreed a fee of around £7.5 million for the Argentina international.
Martinez will now finalise his move to the Blues this weekend.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano wrote on X: “Emiliano Martínez, in London today for medical tests and then contract signing at Chelsea.

“Deal valid until June 2028 with option for further season.”
In another tweet, Romano revealed that Joshua Zirkzee could leave Manchester United to join Fiorentina on loan.
United will receive a €5 million loan fee for the Dutch striker.
He wrote: “Fiorentina official bid for Joshua Zirkzee currently being assessed by Man United and player’s camp.
“Zirkzee will decide his future soon; #mufc would receive €5m loan fee, salary covered and buy option clause.”
