The Galadiman Lafia, Musa Labaran Bage has dissociated himself and the entire family members from a recent report credited to one Mohammed Galadima-Gana over the alleged plan to exclude Gidan Galadiman Lafia from the proposed creation of new district heads by Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State.

This was contained in a statement signed by the leader of the Gidan Galadima royal family, Musa Bage, and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Lafia.

He explained via the statement that the author of the earlier publication on the planned exclusion of the Gidan Galadima from the creation of new districts did not consult him, neither did he consult other members of the family before going to press.

Bage further emphasised that as a leader of the Gidan Galadima, the family is loyal to the Emir of Lafia Justice Sidi Muhammad Bage 1, and the entire emirate council.

He added that he had expressed whatever interests the Gidan Galadima has in the planned district creation to the relevant stakeholders of the emirate.

“This matter is before the Emir and it is wrong for somebody who is not the leader of the family, not even known in the family to go to the press and discuss it when it is being handled already.” Bage explained.

Arewa PUNCH recalls that Mohammed Galadima-Gana, had in the recent report

claimed that there was an apparent move to exclude the family from the proposed creation of additional Districts Heads in the Lafia Emirate Council.

Thus, he appealed to Governor Abdullahi Sule for their inclusion in order to ensure justice, fairness, peace and equitable treatment of the family.
