Transfer: Martinez to join Chelsea as Barcelona sign Livaković

Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is all set to join Chelsea from Aston Villa.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Aston Villa on a fee worth £7.5 million for a permanent move.

Martinez has also given the green light to join the Blues after reaching a verbal agreement with Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Barcelona confirmed on Thursday that they have signed Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livaković from Fenerbahçe SK.

Livaković signed a four-year contract that will see him remain at Barcelona until June 30, 2030.

Livaković has been a regular in the Croatia squad since 2017 and went to the last three World Cups (2018, 2022 and 2026).
