Arsenal have agreed to terminate Reiss Nelson’s contract by mutual consent.
Nelson had a few months left on his current contract which had an option to extend by one year.
But the 26-year-old is now a free agent amid interests from England and abroad.
The Athletic correspondent, David Ornstein, wrote on X: “Reiss Nelson agrees deal with Arsenal to terminate contract by mutual consent.

Earlier in the day, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was asked about their interest in Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez.
Arteta responded, “Don’t go there. You know I’m not going to make any comment about a player who isn’t with us.
“My focus is on the players we have here and the work we’re doing with them.”
