Annie Potts pens heartfelt tribute to co-star Tim Curry
- Actor Annie Potts, who starred alongside Tim Curry in the 1988 comedy Pass the Ammo and the 1997 sitcom Over the Top, has posted a heartfelt tribute to her colleague and friend.
- Curry, 80, died in LA on 25 August; his official cause of death has not yet been released.
- In a post on Instagram, Potts, who is perhaps best known for her role as receptionist Janine Melnitz in Ghostbusters and its sequels, farewelled her “darling Tim” alongside a photo of the pair at her wedding.
- She wrote: “My Best Man at my wedding. My neighbor. My boys’ Uncle. He taught me about friendship and cooking and design and gardens. I taught him how to fish.”
- She went on: “I am so happy that you are released now….into a most beautiful garden…. I will miss you beyond words.”
