Chelsea head coach, Xabi Alonso, has named two key players to miss his side’s Carabao Cup second round clash against Luton Town on Thursday.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Wednesday, Alonso said both Moises Caicedo and Marco Palestra will miss the Luton Town game.
Caicedo and Palestra were both absent against Fulham on the opening day of Chelsea’s Premier League first game of the season as the Blues won 3-2.
“Not for tomorrow, both won’t make it [against Luton],” Alonso said of Caicedo and Palestra.
