Chelsea manager, Xabi Alonso has given reasons the duo of Moises Caicedo and Marco Palestra didn’t feature in their 3-2 win over Fulham on Monday.
The Blues began their Premier League campaign with a narrow victory over their West London rivals.
The duo of Caicedo and Palestra were missing from Alonso’s first competitive starting XI.
After the game, the Spaniard revealed that both players were sidelined due to late fitness issues.
