Makinde, who doubles as the Governor of Oyo State, in his reaction, noted that he was not invited to grace the programme.

Makinde made this declaration via a statement issued by his Commissioner for Information, Dotun Oyelade.

The statement was made available to journalists on Monday evening.

Makinde, in the statement, decried his exclusion from the programme.

He maintained that his exclusion indicates that the federal government led by Tinubu is taking the 2027 race too far.

Oyelade, in the statement, said, “The course of 2027 is set, and no level of indecorum or desperation from whatever quarters will hold back the will of the people.”
