Transfer: Super Eagles goalkeeper returns to Bendel Insurance

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie, has rejoined Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, club Bendel Insurance.

Obasogie signed a one-year contract with the two-time NPFL champions.

Bendel Insurance announced the shot-stopper’s return to the club on their official X account on Monday.

“Back where it all began. Former captain and Super Eagles goalkeeper Amasogie Obasogie returns and signs a one-year contract.
Welcome home, Amas. The story continues,” the club wrote on X.

Obasogie last played for Tanzanian Premier League club Singida Black Stars FC.

He was a member of the Super Eagles squad that claimed the bronze medal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
