Former England goalkeeper, David Seaman, has said Liverpool could be the team that challenges Arsenal for the Premier League title.
A lot of fans and pundits have pencilled down the Gunners to retain their crown this season.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea were also expected to be contenders for the title.
However, United began the season with a shock 2-0 defeat at Hull City on Saturday.
“I did think Man United were going to be a lot better than what I’ve seen today so that’s been disappointing,” Seaman said, according to the UK Metro.
“The City result against Arsenal in the Community Shield that really disappointed me, so that threw me a little bit.
“So I’m looking at Liverpool. I still think City will be strong, but I’m going for Liverpool.”
