Maduka Okoye has reacted to Udinese’s thrilling home draw against Como, DAILY POST reports.
The Zebras were held to a 1-1 draw by Cesc Fabregas’ side at the Bluenergy Stadium on Saturday.
Hassane Kamara gave Udinese the lead one minute before the half hour mark with Jurgen
Ekkelenkamp providing the assist.
Udinese restored parity through Anastasios Douvikas nine minutes after the break.
Okoye was satisfied with outcome of the game despite his side’s failure to secure maximum points.
“It’s an important point. We played against a strong team and we’re happy. We went out there to win, but in the end, a point is great,” Okoye told the club’s official website.
“I’m happy to help the team with my saves, but the team played a great game today. We’re all happy.”
