Semi Ajayi was on target as Hull City stunned Manchester United 2-0 in their Premier League clash at the MKM Stadium on Saturday.

Ajayi gave the home team the lead from a corner kick in the 17th minute.

It was Hull City’s first Premier League goal in nine years.

The Nigeria international was however replaced by Paddy McNair in the 63rd minute after sustaining an injury.

Nobel Mendy netted Hull City’s second of the game seven minutes before the break.

Hull City will be away to Coventry City in their next league game.

Manchester United will hope to get back on track when they host Ipswich Town in their next league game at the Old Trafford.
