Student gunman ‘livestreams deadly Philippines school shooting’
- Two students, including the suspected gunman, have died following a shooting at a high school in Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines.
- A Grade 9 pupil armed with a pistol and a rifle opened fire inside a classroom, killing a Grade 10 student and injuring two others before taking his own life.
- Zamboanga City mayor Khymer Adan Olaso said that the suspect, who he described as a very bright student and Roblox fanatic, wore a body camera to livestream the attack.
- Police have launched an investigation to establish the motive behind the shooting, and all classes at the school have been suspended.
- The tragedy comes less than two months after another school shooting in Tacloban City left three students dead.
