Late MAFS expert Mel Schilling was forced to shout at an ‘unacceptable’ groom during her final appearances on the programme.

In Wednesday (May 13) night’s reunion episode, the couples came back for one last interrogation by the experts. While four couples made it to Final Vows, only Filip and Stella have managed to stay together in the real world.

One noteworthy pair that called it quits before the show’s conclusion was Tyson and Stephanie, who appeared well-suited on the surface. Tyson, 30, proudly embraces traditional values and thinks women ought to defer to their male partners.

Meanwhile, Stephanie initially appeared to hold similar views about conventional relationships.

However, tensions arose when Tyson expressed his contentious views about women who have had multiple sexual partners, amongst other topics, reports OK!.

Looking back on his remarks during the reunion, Tyson acknowledged that he could have “worded things better”. But he quickly ignited controversy as he locked horns with sexologist Alessandra Rampolla, prompting Mel to intervene.

Alessandra initiated their exchange when she questioned Tyson’s need for “control” in relationships.

“You’ve mentioned the word ‘control’ a few times in regard to being in control of the household,” the expert said. But before she could complete her thought, Tyson rolled his eyes.

Alessandra went on: “The eyerolling doesn’t help. May I finish, Tyson? Can you listen? It is interrupting my communication to you, and this is the problem because I am a woman, and because I am a woman, you’re not even showing the respect to listen to me.”

Throughout her attempt to reason with him, Tyson persistently talked over Alessandra’s words.

Mel wasn’t having any of it and snapped: “Stop speaking over her! Tyson, this is unacceptable!”
