Paul Ibe, media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has urged voters in Osun State to remain vigilant amid the ongoing collation of results from Saturday’s governorship election.
Ibe alleged that the Tinubu-led All Progressives Congress, APC, administration, in collaboration with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, could attempt to alter the election results while voters slept.

He made the allegation on Saturday in a post on X.
Ibe wrote: “Osun people, you have to be vigilant. Indeed, you have to keep the vigil.
“There’s no guarantee that while you sleep, the Tinubu-led APC administration working in cahoots with INEC will not subvert the will of the people by changing the results.
“The pausing of the uploading of results on the IREV is indicative that they’re up to something crooked. It happened in 2023. To the urban bandits, ‘all is fair in politics.’”
He urged Osun voters to keep watch as INEC continued the collation and announcement of results from the election.
