DAILY POST gathered reports that Alagbe had yesterday stated that he is the ADC candidate in the 2027 general elections.Â
But, Adegoke, who doubles as Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, said Alagbe’s claim on the ADC gubernatorial ticket was a mere wishful thinking.Â
He noted that a political party’s candidate is not determined by who makes the loudest declaration.Â
According to him, he scored a total of 16,051 votes to emerge as the party’s candidate.Â
Adegoke claimed that Bisi Ilaka scored 11,415 votes, Gbemileke Alagbe got 241 votes, Azeez Adeduntan scored 155 votes and Niyi Aborisade got 67 votes.
