Former Newcastle United manager, Steve Bruce, has snubbed Manchester United while naming Arsenal as the favourite to win the Premier League title this season.

According to Bruce, the Gunners are the team to beat after winning the Premier League title last season.

He said this while dismissing Manchester United’s Premier League title hopes this term.

When asked if Man United are favourites to win the Premier League title, Bruce said via talkSPORT, “I think that is too much too soon.

“But I still think Arsenal are the ones to beat, and they have just strengthened as well with Bruno Guimaraes alongside Declan Rice. And I still believe there’s one or two coming into Arsenal.

“They are still the ones to beat. They won it at a canter in the end, didn’t they? So they are the ones to beat.”
