Chelsea have officially confirmed the signing of Pep Chavarria from Rayo Vallecano.
The 28-year-old is the seventh summer signing the Blues have made so far.
Chavarria is expected to be a direct replacement for Marc Cucurella, who joined Real Madrid before the 2026 World Cup.
He will cost Chelsea approximately £16.3 million.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Chavarria said: “I’m so excited to get started.
“This is a dream for me as Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“It is a big opportunity but I am prepared and will work hard to help the team achieve success.”
