OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend in their Miami condo, was sentenced to six years in prison.
Clenney, 30, who had been behind bars since April 2022, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on Monday, receiving a six-year prison sentence and five years of probation following the 2022 killing of 27-year-old Christian Obumseli.
The former OnlyFans model, who was known online as Courtney Tailor, received credit for time served. She had been jailed in Miami since 2022 on a second-degree murder charge.
Clenney became emotional and was seen wiping away her tears while listening to a victim’s statement written by Obumseli’s mother, who described her son’s death as “the darkest day” of her life.
“No sentence, no plea, can bring back my son to me,” a family spokesperson said on behalf of Obumseli’s mother.

Authorities found Obumseli with a single stab wound to the torso, while body camera footage showed Clenney covered in his blood.
Clenney told investigators that Obumseli pushed her to the ground and that she threw a knife at him from about 10 feet away. A medical examiner determined the knife wound to Obumseli’s chest was about three inches deep.
The model’s attorneys argued that she acted in self-defense, claiming Obumseli was abusive and that he grabbed her by the throat before she stabbed him. They said Clenney was a victim of domestic violence, which Obumseli’s family strongly disputed, claiming he was the one who suffered abuse in their turbulent, on-and-off relationship.
While on the outside, Clenney and Obumseli appeared to be in love and living a lavish lifestyle, prosecutors described their relationship as “tempestuous and combative,” saying the fatal stabbing came after a history of conflict between the two.
Following Obumseli’s death, videos emerged showing the turbulent side to their relationship. In one clip, Clenney was seen hitting Obumseli in an elevator, while in another, she was seen repeatedly slapping him.

Meanwhile, Clenney claimed in recently filed court documents intended to be used in trial that Obumseli abused her at least nine times before his death, including allegations that he punched her and fractured her ribs, according to the New York Post.
Her trial was scheduled to begin this year, but repeated delays pushed the case back as attorneys continued battling over evidence, legal motions and courtroom issues. Repeated attempts for her release on bond were also unsuccessful.
In a statement Monday, Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said that with the plea deal, Obumseli’s family “finally heard what they long sought: Courtney Clenney accepting full responsibilty for his death.”
“This plea was reached in full consultation and approval of Christian’s family,” Fernandez Rundle said. “The Assistant State Attorneys handling this case have remained focused on the core evidence that Clenney stabbed Christian Obumseli as part of a pattern of escalating violence toward him. While nothing can heal the wounds caused on that day in April, I hope today’s guilty plea brings his family a measure of justice too long denied.”
