The semi-final fixtures at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, have been confirmed.
This follows the completion of the quarter-final ties on Sunday.
In the first match, Cameroon pulled off a 1-0 win over defending champions, Nigeria.
Myriam Maéva Nyadjou Wamen scored the only goal of the encounter.
Cameroon will now face hosts Morocco in the final four.
Malawi stunned Ghana 2-1 to progress into the semi-final.
The Scorchers have also qualified to play at the 2027 FIFA women’s World Cup for the first time in their history.
Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah opened the scoring for the Black Queens, but Temwa Chawinga equalized in the 12th minute.
Rose Kadzere then netted a dramatic winner in the second half for Malawi, who will now face Algeria in the semi-final.
