The four teams that will fight for two spots at Inter-Confederation play-offs in a bid to qualify for the 2027 Women’s World Cup have been confirmed.
This follows the completion of the quarter-final matches at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, on Sunday.
All the countries that lost will be involved in the African play-offs.
They are Nigeria, South Africa, Ivory Coast and Ghana.
The Super Falcons will take on the Bayana Bayana, while the Black Queens face the Lady Elephants.
The two winners will take part in the 10-nation intercontinental play-offs in November and December.
Out of those 10 countries, three will qualify for the 2027 World Cup.
