Algeria became the first country to seal their place, with a 2-1 win over Ivory Coast.
Goals from Inès Khiri and Amira Ould Braham cancelled out Inès Konan’s opening strike.
Algeria are also the first African team to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
In the second quarter-final clash, hosts Morocco defeated South Africa 2-1.
Sakina Ouzraoui scored for the Atlas Lionesses, before Hanan Ait El Haj doubled their lead from the penalty spot.
Bayana Bayana scored what proved to be mere consolation through Thembi Kgatlana in the 67th minute.
The two quarter-final fixtures on Sunday will see Nigeria play Cameroon and Malawi take on Ghana.
