Manchester City boss, Enzo Maresca, is set to appoint a new captain for the team.
This follows the exit of Bernardo Silva from the Premier League this summer.
Silva has since joined Real Madrid as a free agent.
City are also expected to lose Rodri, with the Spanish midfielder heavily linked with a move to Barcelona.
Rodri has reportedly informed City that he wants to leave the Etihad.
With these two senior players set to leave, Maresca will now have to pick a new skipper ahead of this season.
Ruben Dias remains the favourite to take the armband, but the entire structure of the leadership group, which includes Erling Haaland, is currently under review.
