Violence breaks out in South Wales as four arrested and three men hospitalised
- Four men have been arrested following a violent disturbance involving a group near Pontypool, South Wales, on Thursday evening around 7:15 PM.
- Three men were taken to hospital as a result of the disorder, with two of them currently in a critical condition.
- Armed police and the National Police Air Service were deployed to support officers at the scene in Mill Road, Pontnewynydd.
- Gwent Police confirmed that two of the arrested men remain in police custody as investigations continue into the incident.
- Detective Chief Superintendent Anne-Marie Salwey condemned the violence and urged anyone with information, CCTV, or dashcam footage from the Hospital Road and Mill Road area between 7 PM and 7:30 PM on Thursday to contact the police.
