Two other people were taken to hospital alongside a nine-year-old girl who later died after an incident at an Arbroath industrial estate, it has emerged.
The child was found seriously injured at Elliot Industrial Estate around midnight on Monday, August 3, and was rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where she later died. Police are treating her death as suspicious and have arrested a 35-year-old white British man in connection with the incident.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has now confirmed that three patients were transported to Ninewells Hospital after crews were called to the scene in Arbroath.
