Strictly Come Dancing winner Dianne Buswell shared an emotional home update ahead of hosting tonight’s BAFTAs. Posting on her YouTube channel, which has 298,000 subscribers, the 37-year-old was seen going into her young son Bowden’s room.

Bowden is the son she shares with her husband Joe Sugg, 34, whom she met on Strictly in 2018. Bowden was born in March. Addressing the camera, she explained the reason she was in there was to collect some of his clothes and donate them to a shelter.

She said: “We’re now in Bowden’s room and we are going through his clothes because a lot his clothes do not fit him anymore.” Moments before she started tidying, Dianne revealed she had been warned about how fast Bowden would grow out of his clothes.

She said: “People warned me, people said he’s going to grow so fast. You wait, your newborn clothes are only going to last a couple of a weeks. I was like ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever’. It’s true, they only last a short amount of time.”

As a result, Australian Dianne had taken the decision to donate clothes Bowden couldn’t wear to a shelter. She said: “So, we are going through now and we’re going to put all of them into a lovely little box.

“I found a place nearby…somewhere where you can take things that are still absolutely fine. I’m going to take it to this shelter to hopefully give to someone who is in need of baby stuff.”

However, as she dug further into Bowden’s clothes she found the garments he wore home from the hospital.

Remarking about how special they were and remembering the critical journey, she said: “If I was to put that near him now…it’s so small for him now. There’s no way that his long legs are fitting into those…That’s going to into his little special pile. Makes me sad.”
