Chelsea manager, Xabi Alonso, has hailed winger, Mykhailo Mudryk after the Ukrainian was cleared to start training again with the Blues.
Alonso described Mudryk as a special player, adding that he is looking forward to working with him at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to the media, the former Real Madrid manager also recalled Mudryk’s time at Shakhtar Donetsk.
“I remember watching him in Shakhtar, the impact he had, how quick he is, how good in one-on-one situations, how he could create a lot of situations on his own, and he is a special player, but he will take time for sure,” Alonso said (via Football London).
Mudryk has been out of action for Chelsea since 2024.
