Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has said he is expecting movements in the coming weeks as it concerns transfers.
Arteta was speaking to journalists, following their 4-1 victory over Girona in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
The name specifically put forward to the Spaniard was Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners.
Arsenal are reportedly ready to pounce for Vinicus Jr, if he fails to agree fresh terms with Madrid.
One of the reporters asked Arteta, “Vinicius Jr., I know you probably don’t want to talk about him specifically but can the fans expect more signings?”
Arteta responded: “Well we are very active, trying to improve and evolve the team.
“We expect movements in the next few weeks, we want to get better. We are very ambitious.”
