Police and health and safety officials have launched an investigation after a 21-year-old worker died in a horror accident.
Steven Dougall, of Falkirk, passed away in hospital after the incident on July 21 where it is alleged he was crushed.
Tributes have poured in for Steven on social media while a balloon release memorial was held in Dollar Park.
The incident happened at a yard on Dollar Industrial Estate, Falkirk, owned by Horizon Reinforcing & Crane Hire Co. Ltd, the Dougall family business where he worked.
Police Scotland said the circumstances are not being treated as suspicious but it is investigating the incident along with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

A force spokeswoman said: “Around 9.55am on Tuesday, 21 July, 2026, we were called to a report of a man seriously injured at an industrial premises on Castle Drive in Falkirk.
“Emergency services attended and a 21-year-old man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert by ambulance where he died a short time later. His family is aware.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious however enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. The Health and Safety Executive has been made aware.”
An HSE spokesman said: “We are aware and assisting Police Scotland with their enquiries.”
Over the last two weeks, tributes have flooded in for Steven with his family and the wider local community devastated by his sudden passing.
Hundreds attended the release of balloons in his honour in Dollar Park last Tuesday.
An obituary posted online said: “The Falkirk community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Steven Dougall, whose passing at the age of 21 has left his family, friends and loved ones devastated.
“Tributes shared in his memory reflect the profound impact he had on those around him and the deep sense of loss felt by everyone who knew him.
“Steven is being remembered as a hardworking, kind-hearted young man with ambitious goals and a bright future ahead of him… those closest to Steven remember him for his warm personality, infectious sense of humour, determination, and ability to create lasting memories with family and friends.”
It added his family has “requested privacy as they mourn their beloved son, grandson, cousin and friend”.
A keen amateur footballer, Steven’s life was also celebrated in a memorial match last week staged by Pantry FC, the local Monday league 6-a-side team he played for.
The team posted: “Steven Dougall was the heart of Pantry and great friends with everyone involved, nobody was as competitive and infectious as him when it came to football in any form.
“The sudden loss of Steven has hurt everyone so deeply…
“We’d like to thank everyone who took part in this and especially all those who came to watch the game and support the boys in playing this match for Steven.
“It meant the world to those playing and to Steven’s family to see how many people turned out for him.”
The Dougall family did not wish to comment.
